We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to support employee engagement, corporate communications, and internal events for a growing organization. This contract role will play a key part in developing and delivering communication initiatives that strengthen company culture, keep employees informed, and align teams around business priorities.

Working closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, the successful candidate will help execute internal communication programs, manage employee-facing content, coordinate company events, and support engagement initiatives across multiple teams. Term: 3-Month Contract

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of internal communications strategies and employee engagement initiatives.
• Create and manage content for internal communication channels, including intranet updates, company-wide announcements, newsletters, presentations, and leadership communications.
• Coordinate communication plans and messaging calendars to ensure consistent and timely employee communications.
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to gather information and develop engaging internal content.
• Assist in planning and executing employee events, town halls, leadership meetings, recognition programs, and other corporate initiatives.
• Maintain and optimize internal communication platforms and channels to enhance employee engagement and information sharing.
• Manage project timelines, event logistics, budgets, and vendor coordination where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve communication processes, tools, and employee experiences.
• Support broader corporate communications and organizational initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, marketing, public relations, or a related discipline.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
• Experience managing internal communication programs, employee engagement initiatives, and corporate events.
• Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized with strong project management capabilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with leaders, employees, vendors, and external partners.
• Experience within a regulated, healthcare, life sciences, technology, or similarly complex industry environment is considered an asset.
