Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Design and improve secure cloud architecture patterns that align with operational needs, compliance expectations, and platform scalability goals.
• Implement and manage cloud security controls across infrastructure, applications, and services to reduce risk and strengthen governance.
• Administer identity and access strategies by refining permissions, access models, and authentication practices across cloud environments.
• Build and maintain infrastructure automation using configuration management and infrastructure-as-code approaches to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Embed security practices into deployment pipelines and engineering workflows to support DevSecOps delivery and application protection.
• Support containerized and Kubernetes-based platforms by applying security standards, monitoring controls, and platform hardening measures.
• Troubleshoot cloud networking, connectivity, and server-related issues while helping maintain stable and secure service performance.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders using tools such as Jira to plan work, track progress, and resolve security and platform concerns.
• Provide technical guidance during deployments, platform enhancements, and ongoing operational support within cloud-hosted environments.
• Strong hands-on experience securing cloud environments, with particular depth in Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of identity and access management principles, including role design, authentication, and privileged access control.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and the integration of security controls into deployment and engineering processes.
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts, secure connectivity, and troubleshooting in distributed environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams while contributing practical solutions to architecture, implementation, and support challenges
