We are looking for a Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst to join a team in Mississauga, Ontario on a Long-term Contract basis. In this role, you will turn complex data into meaningful insights that help leaders evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and respond to potential risks. The position is well suited to someone who enjoys combining analysis, reporting, and clear communication to support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Examine high-volume datasets to uncover patterns, exceptions, and practical insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
• Produce scheduled and on-demand reports for leadership and business teams, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and easy to interpret.
• Create dashboards, reporting materials, and concise summaries that present performance results in a clear and business-focused way.
• Apply advanced Excel techniques, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas, to organize, analyze, and validate data.
• Monitor key metrics and investigate trends or variances to highlight business performance drivers and emerging issues.
• Convert analytical findings into straightforward recommendations that help stakeholders make sound decisions.
• Partner with internal teams to clarify reporting needs, define business objectives, and document requirements effectively.
• Strengthen reporting workflows and improve data integrity through ongoing process refinement and quality checks.
• Demonstrated experience in business analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or financial analysis roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including strong capability with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formula-driven analysis.
• Proven ability to interpret data accurately and present conclusions in a way that is relevant to business stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• High attention to detail combined with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements, document needs, and support reporting initiatives.
• Familiarity with tools and practices such as Jira, CRM platforms, gap analysis, Agile Scrum, A/B testing, and documentation is considered beneficial.
• Knowledge of accounting or finance is an asset, but not a mandatory requirement.
