Robert Half Canada is partnering with a confidential organization to hire a Business Analyst. This opportunity is suited to a thoughtful and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with stakeholders to understand business needs, improve processes, and support practical, data-informed solutions.

Position Summary

The Business Analyst will work closely with business and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the delivery of business and operational initiatives. The person in this role will help translate business needs into clear documentation and actionable recommendations while contributing to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements
• Analyze current processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Develop business requirements documents, process maps, user stories, and other project documentation
• Support solution design, testing, implementation, and change management activities
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions with internal stakeholders and project teams
• Track project progress, action items, and deliverables to support timely execution
• Assist in data analysis, reporting, and the development of business insights to support decision-making
• Work with technical and non-technical teams to help ensure shared understanding of project goals and requirements
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and status updates throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Experience in a Business Analyst, systems analyst, project support, or related role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across functions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business analysis or project tools
• Experience with process mapping, reporting, testing, or change support is considered an asset
• Post-secondary education in business, information systems, finance, or a related field is considered an asset
