Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our client's finance team within the food and logistics sector. The successful candidate will handle daily accounting tasks and assist in financial reporting, ensuring accurate and compliant recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Reconcile ledgers, process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
• Support compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
• Work closely with operations teams to resolve discrepancies and support process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in the food or logistics industry is a plus, but not required.
