We are supporting a boutique Corporate & Estates Planning law firm based in Vancouver in their search for an Estates Planning Lawyer.

About the Role:

They are looking for an Estates Planning Lawyer to take ownership over files, and to develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead Legacy Workshop Sessions for business owners, professionals, and families with real planning needs.
• Design and deliver Wills, Powers of Attorney, Representation Agreements, corporate Wills, trusts, and beneficiary planning.
• Make a clear scope and fee recommendation, and help clients make decisions.
• Coordinate with accountants, financial advisors, and our own corporate lawyers while staying the client's main point of contact.
• Maintain and grow referral partner relationships that bring good clients through the door.
• Complete the Will Signing and stay in the client relationship for years, with the support of our team and systems.

Candidate Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Estate Planning.
• Be a member in good standing with the Law Society of BC.
• Comfortable independently leading files and client conversations.
• The successful candidate will be confident in developing and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients.
• Strong drafting skills and commercial judgement.
