Robert Half is partnering with a client to hire an experienced AR Accountant Team Lead. This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong accounts receivable expertise, leadership experience, and a track record of improving processes and supporting high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the accounts receivable team, including workflow oversight, training, and performance management
• Review AR aging, monitor outstanding balances, and help drive collection efforts
• Oversee billing, invoicing, cash application, and account reconciliation activities
• Assist with month-end and year-end close related to accounts receivable
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards
• Partner with finance, customer service, and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer account issues
• Prepare AR reports, analyze trends, and provide updates to management
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen reporting accuracy
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests

• Previous experience as a AR Accountant Team Lead or similar role
• Strong knowledge of billing, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
