We are looking to connect with experienced Accounts Receivable professionals in Calgary for future opportunities. We’re interested in candidates with strong experience across invoicing, collections, reconciliations, cash application, and customer account management.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer invoices, credit notes, and account adjustments accurately and within established timelines.

• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances through phone and email collections.

• Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment or billing issues.

• Apply customer payments, process cash receipts, and support cash application activities.

• Prepare and review aging reports and provide follow-up on overdue accounts.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, account balances, and billing discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate customer records and supporting documentation within accounting or ERP systems.

• Assist with month-end activities, reporting, reconciliations, and other accounts receivable projects as required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on accounts receivable experience in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong experience with invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and cash application.

• Working knowledge of accounting principles and customer account management.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling high volumes of financial transactions.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly when handling collection conversations or account disputes.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative finance team.
