our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst for a contract role in Calgary, Alberta. You will be responsible for managing collections, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers with overdue accounts to secure payments and meet collection targets
• Negotiate payment plans while following company credit policies
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies through account reconciliation
• Work with internal teams to fix billing or service issues affecting payments
• Assess customer credit risk and recommend changes to limits or terms
• Manage credit holds and communicate with customers to resolve issues
• Review and process requests for new or updated credit terms
• Resolve unapplied payments, credits, and short-pays
• Report on high-risk accounts and collection issues to management
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in credit, collections, or accounts receivable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Experience with CRM and AR systems
• Advanced spreadsheet skills
• NetSuite or similar systems (an asset)
