Robert Half is working with a respected client to find a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong invoice processing, vendor management, and reconciliation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for proper approval and coding
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation
• Respond to vendor inquiries and build positive working relationships
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations
• Support audits by providing requested documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures

• Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Solid communication and problem-solving abilities
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred
