Robert Half is working with a client seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day invoice processing, vendor payments, account reconciliations, and AP reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of full-cycle accounts payable, and hands-on Yardi experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, EFT, and wire payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate AP records and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment status and issue resolution
• Support audit requests and ad hoc reporting as needed

• Prior experience in accounts payable
• Hands-on experience with Yardi
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, vendor management, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting tools
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
