Responsibilities:
• Process incoming invoices by reviewing details for accuracy, validating supporting information, and entering payment data into the appropriate system.
• Organize and assign invoice coding while matching documents to corresponding purchase orders and internal records.
• Investigate billing variances, follow up on outstanding issues, and resolve payment-related discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Communicate with suppliers to address account questions, provide updates, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Work closely with operational teams to confirm inventory-related coding and support supplier account reconciliations.
• Administer employee expense submissions to ensure claims are complete, properly documented, and ready for payment processing.
• Prepare and complete weekly cheque runs while helping ensure payments are issued according to established timelines.
• Maintain orderly filing systems and provide additional administrative support related to accounts payable functions as needed.
