Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of supplier invoices by matching documents to purchase orders, verifying details, and entering transactions accurately into the system.
• Investigate pricing or invoice variances by contacting vendors or internal stakeholders to confirm information and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Review vendor statements, identify outstanding or missing invoices, and complete the required follow-up to keep accounts current.
• Reconcile supplier accounts on a regular basis to support accurate records and timely payments.
• Support front desk coverage by answering incoming calls, receiving courier deliveries, and assisting with general office coordination.
• Handle daily mail distribution and scan physical cheques for deposit processing in collaboration with the accounts receivable team.
• Prepare and record cheque deposits while ensuring documentation is organized and submitted correctly.
• Work with the broader finance team to maintain smooth transaction flow between accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
