We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Ingersoll, Ontario on a Contract basis. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys accurate financial administration, works carefully with high volumes of information, and takes pride in keeping records organized. You will support day-to-day payable activities, help maintain expense documentation, and ensure financial entries are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices in Sage 50 with a high degree of accuracy and proper coding.

• Follow up with appropriate approvers to secure payment authorization before transactions are finalized.

• Record remittance details and keep payment documentation current and well organized.

• Reconcile corporate credit card statements by reviewing charges, identifying discrepancies, and confirming supporting records.

• Track and review expense activity to help maintain accurate financial reporting.

• Gather daily paperwork submitted and enter the required information into internal records promptly.

• Maintain complete and orderly accounts payable files to support audits and month-end review.

• At least 1 year of experience in an accounts payable, accounting support, or data entry role.
• Working knowledge of general ledger concepts and how payable transactions affect financial records.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for routine tracking, review, and data entry tasks.
• Experience processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and handling payment-related documentation.
• Familiarity with Sage 50 or similar accounting software used for accounts payable functions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately and consistently.
