Our client is in the real estate industry sector and they are searching for an Accounting Manager for a 3 month contract. You will be primarily responsible for the following:

• Provide oversight on financial accounting process in Finance Department

• Oversee month-end close activities and prepare financial statements

• Prepare Consolidated financial statements

• Manage 3 staff

Designated accountant (CPA or equivalent) with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience from public practice coupled with industry experience.

You also have the following key skills and experience for the contract role:

• Full cycle accounting and month-end close experience

• IFRS and consolidations experience and strong technical accounting experience

• Experience leading a small Finance team

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills

• Firm but confident to push back as needed

• Tech savvy and can figure out that things are not set up properly

• Can work independently and be self-motivated

• Advanced Excel skills
