Responsibilities:
• Process a steady volume of supplier invoices, verify supporting details, and enter transactions accurately into the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts payable activities tied to purchase orders, including applying holdbacks and confirming job-related coding where required.
• Support billing and invoice entry tasks by updating records promptly and ensuring documentation is complete.
• Maintain employee timecard information on a biweekly cycle and help keep payroll-related entries organized until automated processes are in place.
• Reconcile vendor statements on a regular basis, investigate discrepancies, and follow up to resolve outstanding items.
• Contribute to accounts receivable and collections activities by tracking balances, reviewing payment status, and communicating internally on overdue accounts.
• Provide job costing support by entering and organizing project-related financial information for accurate reporting.
• Learn and work within both the current accounting platform and the incoming system as part of day-to-day operational support.
• Prepare completion packages for finished jobs by gathering invoices, material records, and other required project documents.
