A well-established professional services firm is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their growing team. This role offers strong exposure to full-cycle bookkeeping, client engagements, and ongoing professional development within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare government filings (GST, PST, WCB, etc.) and support month-end/year-end processes
• Assist with client engagements, ensuring work is completed accurately and ready for review
• Compile and organize financial data for reporting and year-end preparation
• Prepare personal tax returns and support basic financial reporting
• Respond to client inquiries and maintain strong professional relationships
• Support audit preparation and maintain proper documentation standards
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (public practice considered an asset)
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage 50, or similar accounting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and a client-service mindset

The compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000, dependent on experience. With a hybrid WFH policy (2 days in the office in Coquitlam per week after the 3 month probation)
