We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join a collaborative finance team on a long-term contract basis. This role supports core accounting operations with a strong focus on accounts payable, payment processing, reconciliations, and billing support. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across departments and help maintain accurate, timely financial transactions in a fast-paced office environment. This opportunity is well suited to an accounting specialist who communicates effectively and enjoys working across both transactional and month-end activities.

Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable activities by reviewing invoices, coordinating approvals, and ensuring payments are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Oversee payment runs and maintain appropriate controls when handling payment access and disbursement processing.
• Monitor purchase requests and purchase orders, following up with internal teams to confirm required documentation is submitted promptly.
• Provide support to the revenue and billing function by assisting with billing processes and payment tracking.
• Complete account reconciliations and contribute to month-end close activities with a high level of accuracy.
• Communicate with department leaders and external vendors to resolve invoice, payment, and procurement-related questions.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks and provide general support across the finance team as operational needs arise.
• Use accounting and ERP tools effectively to maintain organized records and support day-to-day financial operations.

• 2+ years experience in accounting or finance roles with hands-on responsibility for accounts payable and payment processing.
• Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain accuracy and avoid missed or late payments.
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, procurement workflows, and invoice approval processes.
• Ability to perform reconciliations and assist with month-end accounting activities.
• Clear and effective communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and an AP automation software
• Familiarity with billing support, revenue-related transactions, or broader accounting functions is preferred.
