Responsibilities:
• Prepare and support the completion of financial statements, ensuring figures are accurate and delivered within required timelines.
• Manage core accounting activities, including invoice processing, accounts payable administration, and general ledger support.
• Perform property accounting tasks using Yardi and maintain reliable financial records for assigned portfolios or entities.
• Reconcile accounts on a regular basis to identify discrepancies and resolve outstanding items promptly.
• Assist with payroll processing for a small employee group through the QuickBooks payroll module, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Review accounting data across systems and help maintain consistent documentation and reporting practices.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to respond to accounting inquiries and provide practical financial support as needed.
• Previous experience in an accounting position with exposure to financial reporting and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of accounting software systems, with practical experience using Yardi and QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes, invoice handling, and account reconciliations.
• Experience supporting payroll administration, ideally in a small team environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
