We’re looking to connect with experienced Accountants in Calgary for upcoming contract opportunities with a variety of clients. If you have experience across full-cycle accounting, month-end, reconciliations, financial reporting, or general accounting operations and are open to contract work, we’d love to hear from you. Assignments may vary in length and industry, offering opportunities to gain experience across different organizations and accounting environments.

Responsibilities may include:

• Perform full-cycle accounting and month-end close activities.
• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support year-end audits and other accounting projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end processes.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
