One of our government clients is looking for a Warehouse Assistant - $20/hr
Length: Month to month contract
Location: Onsite, Mississauga, Ontario
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7 am to 3 PM - 45-minute unpaid lunch, 15-minute paid break in the morning.


POSITION SUMMARIES:
Distribution assistant responsibilities:
• Picking and scanning of products for shipment to retailers (requires high attention to detail)
• Packing and shipping of orders (includes the ability to follow established packing and shipping procedures)
• Verification of returned products (counting product and verifying received products to packing list)
• Ability to perform daily ticket reconciliation procedures Ability to perform weekly inventory counts
• Auditing of processed tickets prior to destruction
• Miscellaneous material handling requirements including moving boxes weighing up to 14.5kg

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
· Computer literate
· Previous experience in a warehouse environment requiring a high attention to detail
· Must be able to communicate in English

OTHER NOTES:
· Must be fully vaccinated.
MUST have safety shoes or they will be sent home
· This position will require some computer knowledge (Basic), scanning and teamwork
· They will be standing for the duration of the shift but on “fatigue mats” which is very comfortable
· This will be for picking, packing, sorting and scanning
· Vehicle a definite asset – may require travel to other locations
· Must be able to understand English and ask for directions when required – very important
· Also, someone that will be on time and committed to working every day
