Our client located in Toronto is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) for 6-12 months assignment. Working in a hybrid mode (1 day of onsite is required as minimum. The SFA will be responsible for financial management (financial planning/forecasting, budgeting, respective risk evaluation, etc.) Working the majority on existing templates and helping to improve existing models to enhance insights while working closely with different stakeholders to improve financials; the successful Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will come with a combination of excellent communication skills, strong related operational FP& A experience, ideally within the Not-for-Profit environment as tuitions, grands and other related revenue are their key component. This individual will have both; an inquisitive mindset to not just investigate if something goes wrong but to identify the cause and solutions and professional maturity to hit the ground running and own the assigned portfolio.

The Senior Financial Analyst will have:

* CPA designation and/or equivalent certification.

* Solid financial analysis experience (extensive financial planning; budgeting, forecasting, modeling experience).

* Excellent system skills (Advanced Excel, Power BI, Sequel, Etc.)

* Strong communication skills.
