Position: Project Accountant

Location: Downtown, Toronto

Hybrid: In office Wednesday – Friday

Salary: $60000 - 80000




Position Overview: As a Project Accountant in the field of Renewable Energy, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations while directly engaging with senior management and clients. Your responsibilities encompass the full spectrum of accounting activities for multiple entities, ensuring adherence to IFRS and/or US GAAP standards. You will contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including consolidation entries and supporting schedules.




Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with senior management and clients to facilitate financial processes.
- Manage full cycle accounting duties for multiple entities.
- Execute month-end close tasks such as accruals, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations.
- Conduct daily accounting operations in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and equity roll-ups.





Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in accounting operations.
- Proficiency with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, for a minimum of 3 years.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
