Position: Personal Support Worker – Homecare in Vanier and Orleans – Part-time
Location: Vanier and Orleans
Salary: $23 per hour
Shifts: Days, Afternoons, and Weekends

Alternacare is currently recruiting qualified Personal Support Workers to work with home care clients in the Vanier and Orleans community. These clients live independently but need a little extra help during the day to stay in their home and keep their independence. They need social interaction as well as care and assistance! Access to a car would make appointments easier for you, but using public transportation can work too!
Get paid weekly to work stress-free in welcoming environments with appreciative clients!
Hours of Work:
- Shifts available throughout the week, we will work with you to build a regular schedule!
Required Qualifications and Documentation:
- PSW certificate – mandatory
- 1 year of experience working as a PSW
- Excellent English communication skills, French is an asset
- Valid police records check (vulnerable sector)
- Valid and current CPR
- Up-to-date immunizations (Covid, TB, hepatitis B, MMR, varicella, tetanus, diphtheria)
- Ability to work independently
- Access to a vehicle and/or public transit
