Position: Paymaster
Location: Montreal – remote 100%
Salary: $80K to $100K
Our client is well-established stable accounting firm looking to hire a Paymaster for their office in Montreal.
Job Benefits:

- Flexible working schedule
Job Requirements:
- DEC, DEP or certificate in accounting and PCP
- 4 years of experience in payroll
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Job Description:
- Process Canadian payroll for 200 clients – 200 employees
- Ensure payroll calculation accuracy
- Follow up on group insurance
- Perform benefits administration
- Act as the contact person for employees and Managers
- Update employee files
- Ensure procedures comply with legislation
- Prepare governmental reports
- Calculate and update employee vacation files
- Complete month-end and year-end procedures (T4, R1…)
- Perform occasional recruitment and screening of potential accounting candidates
