Position: Network Engineer

Our client is looking for someone who has solid experience with IP networking, wireless technologies, strong in HP, DNS switches, and Aruba.

Summary:

- Install, set-up, configure maintain and monitor local area network (LAN) and Wide area Network (WAN).
- Install, set-up, configure, maintain, and monitor Windows servers on premises.
- Implement, set-up, maintain, configure, document, and monitor security components of the infrastructure including e-mail security solution, firewalls (including IPS/IDS components), ClearPass solution, IP network and end point security software.
- Evaluate and/or recommend network hardware, servers, and infrastructure components.
- Detect existing problems, gather all relevant information, identify underlying issues or problems, and identify trends.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade organizational wireless infrastructure including access points and controllers.
- Complete assigned deliverables in a timely manner with high quality in accordance with established objectives.
- Follow ITIL best practices, creating and maintaining relevant documentation.
- Manage backup/restore requests and procedures for servers and infrastructure components like switches, routers, and firewalls.

Qualifications:

- Innate sense of urgency to resolve technical issues impacting patient care.
- Experience implementing Wireless Devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with VoIP technologies, Cisco preferred.
