Position: Mechanical Drafter

Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 per year depending on experience and education
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, flexible schedule! Finish early on Fridays!

Responsibilities:


- Design and model industrial sheet metal drawings of custom-made products with Solid Edge
- Design, create, and correct technical drawings with Solid Edge and AutoCAD
- Ensure the conformity of drawings to meet client requirements
- Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) necessary for manufacturing
- Collaborate with the production and engineering team by providing additional information

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Solid Edge software
- Experience as a drafter is a plus, but candidates early in their careers are welcome!
- Basic knowledge of mechanics
- Education related to the position (DEP in industrial drawing, DEC in Building Mechanics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent training)
