Education- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Tasks- Adjust, repair or replace electrical system parts
- Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts
- Diagnose and isolate faults on engines
- Document your inspection and tests made on engines
- Estimate repair costs
- Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements
- Review work orders
- Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts
- Instruct apprentices
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service
- Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
- Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
- Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
- Install, repair and service safes and vaults
