Position: Manager, Cyber Security
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time permanent
Our client, a leader in the retail space, is currently seeking a Manager, Cyber Security. This role will oversee the information security program, ensuring effective management of cyber-security risks and issues. This will include crafting and enforcing IT policies, incident management, crisis response, and communication at both core team and board levels. The role will also include the oversight of the security risk team.
Responsibilities include:
- Recommend cybersecurity improvements, manage policy documents, threat risk assessments, and the Incident Response Plan.
- Develop an executive internal security dashboard and conduct tabletop exercises.
- Establish threat intelligence using internal and external resources.
- Deploy, integrate, and configure new cybersecurity solutions.
- Oversee Information Security Operations activities.
- Manage and update the Incident Response Plan (IRP) on a predetermined periodic basis.
- Manage and maintain a threat risk assessment (TRA) process and set of artifacts.
The skills you will bring:
- Experience developing, documenting, training, and managing a cyber risk program (build and deliver).
- Experience managing an IT Security team.
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent designations are a plus.
