Position: Junior Accounting Technician
Location: Anjou (3 days in office/2 days remote)
Job Type: 12-month contract
Salary: $58K (based on experience)
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

The ideal candidate:
- A degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- Fluently bilingual required for correspondence outside Quebec
- At least 6 months of experience in Accounting and Finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance (ideal)
- Attention-to-detail and a multi-tasker
- Advanced Excel skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the monthly closing process ( month-end variance analysis)
- Support the team in analyzing actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
- Assist the auditors with the year-end review
- Validate the calculation and payment of rebates
- Contribute to the creation of new products and capital expenditure projects in SAP
- Actively participate in the reliability of financial information within our respective systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders on various special projects
