This world-renowned company is currently looking for a legal advisor who will be responsible for data protection to complete its team.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be called upon to support several internal privacy teams, including information technology, human resources and various legal departments. This is a very interesting opportunity for a lawyer with relevant experience in this field and wishing to join a large company!

YOUR ROLE:
• Provide advice and advice on the management of personal information and the protection of privacy;
• Ensure process compliance and process risk management;
• Participate in the evolution of strategies related to data protection issues;
• Be the key person for all matters related to the protection of information;
• Maintain and foster colleagues' skills in privacy, ethics and data use;
• Coordinate mandates in conjunction with external firms;
• Identify emerging security needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Extensive and demonstrated relevant experience, in the field of data protection and privacy;
• Knowledge of global data protection laws (Quebec, Canada, United States, Europe);
• Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar or member of the Bar of Ontario (an asset);
• Business acumen and leadership skills;
• Agility and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities;
• Discretion, sound judgment and capacity to manage priorities;
• Availability and thoroughness;
• Very good level of bilingualism, both oral and written.
