Position: HR Coordinator

This internationally renowned manufacturing leader is seeking an enthusiastic HR Coordinator to bolster their Lachine plant. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting HR activities across Canada. This diverse position encompasses a broad spectrum of HR functions, including crucial support for their unionized production team.
Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payments
- Manage HR administrative duties, maintaining meticulous employee records and documentation
- Champion health and safety initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a secure work environment
- Support compliance tasks, including data protection and legal requirements
- Facilitate open employee communication channels, promoting engagement and transparency
- Execute various tasks vital to supporting the HR function organization-wide

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in HR administration
- Proficiency in bilingual communication (oral and written) essential for engaging with employees across Canada
- Knowledge of payroll, HR best practices, and health and safety protocols (strong asset)
- Organized, resourceful, and adaptable, adept at handling diverse HR support tasks
