ABOUT INFINITY EXPERIENCES
Born from the collaboration between PHI Studio and Felix & Paul Studios, Infinity Experiences has a mandate to produce and distribute large-scale collective and immersive installations.
Its first production, Space Explorers: THE INFINITE, is the largest virtual reality installation ever produced in the world and is based on films produced by Felix & Paul Studios in collaboration with TIME Studios and NASA. Space Explorers: THE INFINITE allows visitors to visit the International Space Station and experience life in space.
Two versions of Space Explorers: THE INFINITE are currently touring in North America and additional installations will be added to the North American and international markets in the coming months and years.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The financial analyst supports the company in all stages of its development and operations. This person analyzes business opportunities in collaboration with the producer, the operations director and management. The incumbent will need to prepare monthly dashboards, the annual budget, reports to the board of directors and financial partners. This person ensures the reliability of financial information and the efficiency of accounting processes. The role will also participate in funding and grant applications.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare opportunity studies and financial models for projects (business cases);
- Produce various financial reports required by management, shareholders and partners based on accounting data, the ticketing system and third-party information;
- Analyzing projects to determine whether they will be profitable;
- Ensure the alignment of accounting and financial information with managers' needs;
- Support managers in the administration/management of their projects;
- Analyze monthly financial information and make recommendations to management;
- Identify the tax framework for each project and obtain local permits;
- Draw up annual budgets and monthly planning;
- Participate in grant applications and arrange the required funding;
- Assist with the preparation of year-end audit files;
- Participate in the management of the entire accounting cycle;
- Prepare account reconciliations and analyses;
- Making end-of-period adjustment entries.
DESIRED SKILLS
+ 3 years of experience in a similar post;
University degree in accounting or finance;
Membership in the Order of CPA is a major asset;
Experience in reporting and financial analysis in a complex environment;
Excellent command of French, both written and spoken;
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, for market research;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, and Google;
Demonstrate autonomy, versatility and responsibility;
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
Good team spirit, adaptability and good interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of the entertainment and/or cultural sector (an asset).
