A NPO client of ours in Richmond is seeking the assistance of a Finance and Accounting Consultant over the next 3 months. The company has grown significantly, therefore they are finding gaps in their process that they need to address soon.

 

A long standing member of their team who currently runs the finance and accounting function is retiring in June, so they would like this professional to also help with this transition, and potentially be considered for the permanent role in due course.

 

The role will focus on the following responsibilities:
- Work with the current team to develop a cash flow model
- Perform monthly reconciliations on their grant programs
- Contract management and process deployment
- Support the senior leadership team in developing a financial viability plan for their funders
- Support the current team to prepare for their upcoming audit




The requirements for this role are:
- You must be able to go to the office in Richmond 5 days a week.
- Local NPO experience is crucial
- You must be a designated accounting professional
- Previous management experience
