Robert Half is partnering with a leading company to find a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in partnering with a Shared Service Team to ensure the timely and accurate application of cash, ultimately reducing days sales outstanding (DSO) and optimizing cash flow for the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of escalation and support for the offshore team, providing guidance and assistance in AR processes to maximize operating cash flow.
- Drive governance of AR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all operations.
- Take ownership of reporting performance against established plans and provide actionable feedback to address process and performance gaps.
- Actively manage internal escalations raised by the offshore team, facilitating the resolution of stubborn issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Support period close activities and monitor controls pre/post period close to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes that minimize the risk of credit losses and drive continuous improvement.




- Experience with SAP/S4 Hana required.
- In-depth knowledge of AR financial policies and procedures, standard accounting practices, and internal policies.
- Familiarity with accounting principles, general ledger accounts, and chart of authority verification.
- Strong customer focus with a keen understanding of the impact of actions on the company's relationship with customers.
- Competence in AR management and a solid understanding of business environment principles.
