Would you like to join a law firm that guarantees 3 days/week teleworking (2 days in person) ?
As a corporate law paralegal, you will work on major corporate and transactional files as part of a team with many colleagues.
Located in downtown Montreal, our client offers excellent working conditions within a more French-speaking corporate culture, competitive compensation and a highly competitive benefits package.
YOUR ROLE :
Your main responsibilities will include contributing to the preparation of transactional files and all that this entails:
- Produce all documents in support of the transaction and attend closing sessions;
- Proceed with the incorporation, registration, organization, liquidation of companies and filing of corporate documents;
- Prepare, modify and review various legal documents in the context of reorganizations, continuations, dissolutions, shareholders' agreements, mergers, acquisitions, notices, etc.);
- Follow the transaction process, organize closing documents and execute post-transaction tasks;
- Carry out maintenance of minute books.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- DEC in paralegal technology or any other equivalent training;
- Significant experience in corporate, tax or transactional law;
- Good level of bilingualism, both written and oral;
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office;
- Knowledge of Enact is an asset;
- Autonomy, rigor and good excellent organizational skills;
- Interpersonal skills and proactivity.
