Tasks- Supervise professional and support staff and students
- Conduct demographic, social and economic analyses
- Conduct research
- Perform administrative tasks
- Develop questionnaires for social survey research
- Compile and interpret statistics on social issues and policy research
- Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles
- Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
- Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
- Review and evaluate proposals for land use and development plans and prepare recommendations
- Prepare plans for environmental protection
- Generate public awareness of fish and wildlife conservation and regulation
- Confer with appropriate authorities and interest groups to formulate and develop land use or community plans
- Liaise with community agencies or partners, and identify additional or alternative services and provide referrals
