Location: Saint-Laurent, Montreal (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)

Our client a longtime champion in the retail industry is seeking a junior accounting candidate to join their growing team. We are seeking a candidate capable of offering great service and a soft collection approach to their loyal clientele. Ready to be introduced or continue in the world of accounting? Apply today!
Main Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in an accounting role
- Strong communication skills by email and phone
- Fluently bilingual required for communications outside of Quebec
- Strong Excel knowledge
Main Responsibilities:
- Open client accounts, ensuring accurate recording of all customer terms and conditions
- Credit verification for new clients
- Posting deposits to customer account
- Maintenance of customer files
- Issuance of monthly statements
- Collections of past due accounts
- Reconciling customer accounts when there are discrepancies
- Responding to customer’s account inquiries
