Position: Buyer, SME Environment
Location: Laval, in-person
Salary: $70,000 to $78,000 per year depending on experience and education
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime, 40 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

- Full-time schedule (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday, daytime from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Your tasks, reporting to the Vice President of Sales:
- Procurement for the company and production, order tracking
- Negotiate prices, discounts, and agreements with suppliers
- Evaluate supplier performance
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Conduct research on new suppliers
- Conduct bidding processes for major purchases
- Develop better purchasing strategies
- Manage service providers (insurance and others)
- Maintain up-to-date supplier information in the database
- Participate in special projects
Requirements:
- Bilingual in oral and written communication to collaborate with suppliers outside Quebec
- 4 to 5 years of experience as a buyer
- Relevant education for the position
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment
