Position: The Bookkeeping Accounting Technician who will play a crucial role in our client’s bookkeeping team. This position does not require a CPA designation, making it a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about accounting and looking to grow their career in a supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
- Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and track financial transactions.
- Process Canadian payroll
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Use accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.


Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Quickbooks is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
