    Position: Billing Clerk
    Location: Toronto

    Quantum is looking to fill one Billing Clerk position on a temporary assignment for one our financial clients. Previous accounting or reconciliation experience is required. Please see the qualifications below:
    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Monitor and manage all accounts receivable activity related to collections of outstanding SEDI insider late fees
    - Conduct collection calls and follow ups
    - Coordinate the A/R payments and follow up with market participants on any issues
    - Provide overdue accounts reports and analysis to management
    - Issue reminder notices and collection letters and follow-up on overdue accounts
    - File payment forms, deposits reports and related documents
    - Liaise with the market participants on behalf of the branch
    - Track and create an inventory of late fee issues to assist with future process improvements
    - Perform reconciliations to confirm OSC systems (Great Plains or GP) and bank records are consistent
    - Coordinate accounts receivable information with management and staff in Finance and other program areas
    - Update systems to record returned cheques and follow-up on collection activity
    - Update customer files and accounts receivable files to reflect all related activity
    - Provide back up support to the Accounting Coordinators

    Requirements:

    - A 2-year community college diploma in finance, business, accounting, or a related field
    - 1 to 3 years of accounting-related experience in an accounting department including experience in reconciliation processes
    - Experience in customer relationships and dispute resolutions
    - Intermediate level proficiency in Excel to create and run reports, perform data analysis, and utilize formulas and pivot tables
    - Professional experience in collections preferred
    - Strong attention to detail
    - Excellent communication skills
    - Excellent negotiation skills
