Your daily role

Under the supervision of the Operations Business Solutions Manager, and as an Automation Programmer, you will act as an expert and project manager for the areas assigned to you. You understand the structure of the organization and its operations in order to recommend solutions that enable it to achieve its objectives. You define business needs in collaboration with the senior business analyst and with business people and then work together with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.



THE ROLE:

For the business areas assigned to you, you will:
- Define business needs in partnership with the business;
- Document the scope of projects, their objectives, their added values ​​or even the expected benefits;
- Lead various meetings with stakeholders;
- Translate business requirements into technical objectives for development teams;
- Analyze, model and document current and future business processes;
- Present concrete solutions linked to the client's needs;
- Ensure quality deliverables within required deadlines;
- Ensure a good business relationship with external suppliers.

Your profile

- Ideally 5 years of relevant experience;
- University or college diploma in automation;
- Experience in programming control and data acquisition systems (SCADA);
- Knowledge of concepts such as MES (Manufacturing Execution System), OEE, IA (an asset);
- Knowledge of automation software such as Ignition, Cimplicity, FactoryTalk or Zenon (an asset);
- Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English;
- Frequent travel to the various Nortera sites (mainly in Quebec).
