Description
Under the responsibility of the controller, the accounting technician will have the following main responsibilities:
· Mainly and usually, the weekly processing of the complete payroll cycle for Canadian and American employees.
· Compile, process and verify the data necessary for payroll production within the required deadlines;
· Maintain employee attendance, leave and overtime records to calculate the compensation and benefits to which they are entitled;
· Prepare and verify employee statements, indicating net and gross salaries and withholding taxes, such as taxes, garnishments, contributions paid to insurance plans, etc.;
· Prepare employment records;
· Act as a resource person for payroll-related questions and resolve problems within their competence;
· Participate in the improvement and optimization of payroll processes;
· Carry out accounting entries related to payroll;
· See to the improvement of processes related to his function.
· Manage transactions relating to customer accounts (invoicing customers, sending account statements, collecting customer accounts);
· Ensure the collection of all payments;
· Perform any other task of the same nature or of a general nature related to employment; requested or necessitated by his duties;
· Attach receipt notes from suppliers with invoices;
· Proceed to record supplier invoices;
· Make payables each week in the accounting system;
