THE ROLE:

We’re working with a growing organization looking to bring on a Contract Senior Accountant to support their accounting group with full cycle accounting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Full Cycle hands on accounting
• Manage the month-end / quarter-end close
• Prepare financial statements, working papers, and disclosures
• Hands on support of full cycle of accounting operations

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in full-cycle accounting through to financial statement preparation
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, controls, and reporting requirements
• Experience working in inventory-driven environments (WIP, goods in transit)
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (Xero preferred; Shopify an asset)
• Ability to step into a role quickly, work independently, and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach
• Experience with treasury functions (including USD/international exposure) is an asset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
