We are looking for a detail-oriented Deal Desk Analyst to join a software organization in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Long-term Contract basis. In this role, you will support complex commercial reviews, assess pricing and contract structures, and help sales teams move opportunities forward while protecting compliance and profitability. This position is ideal for someone who can balance analytical thinking, sound judgement, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Examine proposed customer agreements to confirm they align with approved pricing frameworks, historical account activity, and internal commercial standards.
• Assess discount requests, non-standard pricing, and contract exceptions, then provide clear guidance to sales teams when adjustments are required.
• Develop financial evaluations that help leadership understand deal profitability, risk exposure, operational impact, and overall business value.
• Review quotes for compliance with revenue recognition rules and internal policy, ensuring accurate documentation before approval.
• Act as a central partner for sales by coordinating with finance, legal, and order management to help advance strategic and high-value opportunities.
• Support the preparation of contract documents and related approvals so transactions can move efficiently toward signature and booking.
• Verify that required authorizations for pricing, discounts, and contractual terms are properly obtained and recorded.
• Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements that strengthen deal review workflows, policy adherence, and operational consistency.
• Experience in deal desk, billing analysis, pricing analysis, contract review, or a similar commercial operations function.
• Strong understanding of pricing structures, discount governance, and financial evaluation within a software or technology environment.
• Ability to review contracts and quotes with a focus on compliance, revenue recognition considerations, and business risk.
• Hands-on experience working with CRM platforms and quoting tools to manage approvals, pricing requests, and transaction records.
• Comfortable partnering with sales, finance, legal, and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support deal progression.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret deal economics, margin impact, and non-standard commercial terms.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to challenge requests that fall outside policy.
• Background in invoice-related processes, billing functions, payment processing, or customer pricing administration is considered an asset.
