Our client is looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports high-volume invoicing and portal submissions, with future growth into collections support for key accounts. The ideal candidate brings accuracy, consistency, and a positive approach to transactional work.

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume invoices accurately using OpenInvoice, Ariba, and customer portals.
• Submit billing documents and manage invoicing activities outside automated systems.
• Meet daily invoice submission targets based on volume and complexity.
• Review PO details, line items, and customer submission requirements for accuracy.
• Monitor invoice status and follow up on rejected, incomplete, or outstanding invoices.
• Learn customer account requirements and support collections activities on overdue accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contacts to resolve billing and payment issues.

• Experience in accounts payable, invoicing, billing, or collections in high-volume environments.
• Knowledge of OpenInvoice, Ariba, or similar e-invoicing platforms.
• Strong attention to detail with purchase orders, line items, and customer requirements.
• Ability to handle repetitive transactional tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Comfortable using digital portals and invoicing systems.
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, positive attitude.
• Knowledge of vendor invoicing, check processing, and billing support.
• Organized, adaptable, and able to meet daily targets while supporting collections.
