    Major Responsibilities

    The MicroStrategy Architect will review functional requirements and using data models/workflows create a technical document and develop Reporting schema semantic layer in accordance with the HBC Microstrategy Architectural standards.

    Role responsibilities include:

    Review Functional requirements and using data models/workflows create Technical document and develop Reporting schema semantic layer
    Work with project manager to help meet the project milestones for reporting efforts
    Create and manage metric and attribute definitions related to schema - Review Report SQL and tune schema for optimization.
    Responsible for the integrity and organization of the QA/UAT and Prod project and DB schemas.
    Work with developers and handles DEV/QA/UAT/PROD promotions activity.
    Works with MicroStrategy support and System Administrator to help enable a stable BI environment for project warranty period.
    Works with the team to address all production support issues originating through calls, emails, mail boxes, tickets.
    Documents progress and resolutions through Smart tickets or MicroStrategy cases
    Other necessary BI team tasks as defined by manager

    Professional Qualifications

    Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    Strong understanding of system integration architectures
    Strong motivational and development skills, innovative problem solving skills, and negotiating skills
    Strong knowledge of technology platforms and environments
    A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Microstrategy Architect
    Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple assigned projects and tasks
    Outstanding ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing
    Ability to present complex ideas clearly, manage the complexities of integrating new technologies and to influence individuals across business boundaries to achieve objectives
    Strong skills in Microstrategy Architecture, nice to have Teradata Experience & SDK Development Experience.

    Educational Credentials

    A bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
