YOUR ROLE:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the end‑to‑end payroll process for employees in Quebec and across Canada, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines;
- Ensuring ongoing compliance of payroll processing with applicable regulations;
- Maintaining and update payroll systems and records;
- Serving as the primary point of contact for payroll‑related matters;
- Preparing and generate monthly and annual payroll reports and filings;
- Collaborating with the accounting team and external partners;
- Managing and processing government remittances.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proven experience in payroll management for employees, including those located in Quebec and across Canada, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulatory requirements;
- Relevant experience in a similar payroll-focused role;
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken;
- Payroll certification from the National Payroll Institute (an asset);
- Strong proficiency with payroll systems and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles;
- High level of attention to detail, discretion, and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong interpersonal and communication skills.
