THE ROLE:

We’re partnering with a long established client in Edmonton to bring on a Contract Financial Business Analyst with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience to support a key Finance initiative. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can step in quickly, navigate Business Central with ease, and support both day-to-day accounting and the system implementation team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting functions
• Work extensively within Dynamics 365 Business Central (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting)
• Support system implementation team with Business Central
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams

You are a detail‑oriented and solutions‑focused professional with a strong understanding of accounting processes and ERP systems. You are comfortable working independently, stepping into new environments quickly, and balancing operational accounting with system‑focused work. You enjoy collaborating with cross‑functional teams and are confident navigating change while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (required)
• Experience supporting system implementations and ERP transitions
• Strong background in journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end accounting processes
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with finance and operations teams
