We are partnering with a leading manufacturer to hire an EH& S Coordinator who will play a key role in driving compliance, promoting a safe work environment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain compliance with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and related regulations
- Assist in developing, implementing, and auditing EHS policies, procedures, and programs
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and workplace inspections
- Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Deliver safety training and onboarding programs for employees
- Track and report on EHS metrics, incidents, and compliance activities
- Collaborate with leadership to drive a proactive safety culture
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal standards
🎯 Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Proven experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments
- Strong understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Actively working toward CRST or CRSP designation preferred
- Experience conducting audits, investigations, and safety training
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and EHS tracking systems
